As his expertise gained recognition, Diederik took the stage at leading events and institutions, sharing insights on emerging threats and the evolving strategic landscape. His engagements included the FIRST Symposium, the European Central Bank, and FS-ISAC, addressing over 800 delegates from top financial institutions.
Professional Certifications
Diederik strengthened his expertise through a series of leading industry certifications, including CISSP, CISM, CISA, CRISC, CCSP, and ISO 27001 and 27002 credentials. This milestone deepened his technical foundation and shaped his practical, real-world approach to cybersecurity and training.
Course Development
CyberTGR was commissioned to develop 30 ECTS of cybersecurity curriculum. This led to the creation of the Cybersecurity Orchestration course, delivered by lecturers at a University of Applied Sciences and equipping hundreds of students to begin and grow their careers in the field.
Public Sector & Defence
A strong commitment to securing public services led Diederik to develop risk management and control selection practices for the Dutch Parliament, while serving as a Lieutenant First Class in the Cyber Reservists at the Ministry of Defence. The lessons from four years of active service continue to shape CyberTGR's approach to information security.
Qualified Lead Auditor
Diederik became a certified ISO 27001 and ISO 9001 Lead Auditor, reinforcing his belief that trust is the foundation of effective collaboration between organisations. Drawing on his experience with control frameworks and ISMS implementation, he applies a structured and critical lens to assess information security and privacy practices.
